Sundarharaicha, Morang:
The first-ever International Academic Conference organized by Sukuna Multiple Campus in Sundarharaicha–12, Morang, has officially begun.
The conference commenced with participant registration at 7 AM, followed by a formal inauguration at 9 AM. The Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Prof. Dr. Devraj Adhikari, inaugurated the event.
During the opening session, Mayor of Sundarharaicha Municipality, Mr. Kedar Prasad Guragai, delivered his best wishes, while Campus Chief Arjun Raj Adhikari extended a warm welcome to all attendees. Program Convener Gunraj Nepal highlighted the purpose of the conference. The event was chaired by Campus Management Committee Chairperson Keshav Adhikari, and the session was moderated by lecturer Ushakiran Wagley.

From 1 PM onwards, the conference hosted plenary sessions, workshops, and four parallel sessions. Notable sessions included a workshop by Roger Cohen, Regional English Language Officer at the U.S. Embassy, engaging professors and students.

In the Education and Humanities group, Dr. Dilnath Phuyal, Registrar of Manmohan Technical University, delivered a plenary speech, followed by presentations from Suryaprasad Chamlagai, Dil Bahadur Rahut, and Narayan Prasad Bhandari of the University Grants Commission.
In the Science, Technology, and Mathematics section, Prof. Dr. Devendra Adhikari conducted the plenary session. Presenters in parallel sessions included Elizabeth Taber (U.S. Fulbright Scholar), Arun Kumar Shrestha, Dr. Divyaraj Dahal, and Sandesh Bhandari.
For the Management group, contributors included Mamta Prajapati (UGC), Trilochan Sitaula, Shilu Karki, Vasudev Khanal, and Sitaram Khatriwada.
According to Ganesh Prasad Dahal, Assistant Campus Chief and Conference Coordinator, the day concluded with a keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Sharada Thapaliya, Vice Chancellor of the Agriculture and Forestry University.

The day wrapped up with cultural performances by the campus students.
According to Coordinator Dahal, the second day of the conference will begin at 8:30 AM and continue until 4 PM, featuring additional keynote speeches and panel discussions similar to the first day.
