Biratchok:<\/strong> Sukuna Multiple Campus is set to organize its <\/span>first International Academic Conference<\/strong> on <\/span>6th and 7th of Baisakh 2082 (April 18\u201319, 2025)<\/strong>, focusing on the theme “<\/span>Sustainability in Higher Education: Integration of Local and Global Knowledge.<\/strong>” The event aims to bring together educators, researchers, scholars, and stakeholders from Nepal and abroad for meaningful dialogue and collaboration.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The conference is designed to foster critical discussions, debates, and knowledge dissemination in the fields of education, management, economics, culture, science, and technology<\/strong>, with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices in higher education.<\/p>\n

Objectives of the Conference:<\/h4>\n

According to the organizing team, the conference has the following key objectives:<\/p>\n

    Promote discussions and debates on sustainability in higher education.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Explore and share national and global practices related to sustainable education.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Facilitate knowledge discovery, sharing, and publication on sustainable education.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Establish national and international networks and collaborations in academic research.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Position Sukuna Multiple Campus as a hub for contemporary academic discourse and research.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Abstract Submissions and Themes<\/h4>\n

    In response to a call for papers issued 45 days prior, the organizing committee has received 67 abstracts<\/strong> from various universities, colleges, research institutions, and academic professionals both from Nepal and abroad. The presentations will cover a broad range of disciplines including humanities, education, management, science, and technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Inauguration and Distinguished Speakers<\/h4>\n

    The conference will be inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Devraj Adhikari<\/strong>, Chairperson of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Nepal, at 9:00 AM on Baisakh 6<\/strong> at the campus auditorium.<\/p>\n

      Additional notable speakers include Dr. Apiradee Lim<\/strong> from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, Dr. Devendra Adhikari<\/strong> and Dr. Basudev Kafle<\/strong> from Mahendra Morang Campus, Roger F. Cohen<\/strong> and Bishwa Gautam<\/strong> from the U.S. Embassy’s English Language Programs, and other senior scholars from multiple institutions.<\/p>\n

      Participation and Discussion Panels<\/h4>\n

      The conference will feature panel discussions, research presentations, and interactive sessions<\/strong>, with an expected participation of around 300 attendees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Financial Support and Organizing Committee<\/h4>\n

      The event is being financed through grants and support from the Provincial Government<\/strong>, local municipalities<\/strong>, University Grants Commission<\/strong>, corporate sponsors<\/strong>, participant registration fees<\/strong>, and the campus\u2019s internal resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      The conference is being coordinated by a five-member organizing committee<\/strong> led by Assistant Campus Chief Ganesh Prasad Dahal<\/strong>.
